Show system information

O&O DeskInfo shows the system information of the computer: processor, memory, drives, components and security features. Use it to identify a computer's hardware, for example to find the right driver, or to document a computer before repairing or erasing it.

Show the information​

  1. Click Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > O&O DeskInfo.
  2. Choose a category: System summary, Security, Hardware resources, Components, Software environment or Product keys.
  3. To find a value, use the search box (Ctrl+F).

Export a report​

  1. Click Export.
  2. Choose the format, for example HTML, Text, CSV or NFO (the format of the Windows system information, msinfo32).
  3. Choose whether to export the full report or the current page. Select Hide sensitive data before you pass the report on.
  4. Save the file on a drive of the computer or on a USB drive.

Limits​

In O&O BlueCon, O&O DeskInfo reads the running system: the hardware of the computer and the recovery environment. Software information therefore refers to the recovery environment, not to the Windows installation on the disk.
