Feature overview
The O&O BlueCon boot media contain a set of programs for repairing and administering Windows. This page lists them by task. All programs work on the Windows installation that you selected in the start wizard, not on the recovery environment itself (see Target system).
Repair Windows

| O&O CheckAndRepair | Checks and repairs the component store (DISM), the system files (SFC) and the file system (CHKDSK) of the installation on the disk. See Repair a Windows installation. |
| O&O UpdateManager | Removes installed Windows updates, for example an update after which Windows no longer starts. See Remove a Windows update. |
| O&O DriverManager and O&O ServiceManager | Change the startup type of drivers and services to deactivate a faulty one, and find drivers and services whose file is missing. See Deactivate a driver or service. |
| O&O RegEditor | Opens the registry of the installation on the disk for editing. See Edit the registry offline. |
| O&O EventViewer | Shows the Application and System event logs of the installation on the disk, or any event log file. See Read the event logs. |
Regain access

Rescue and manage data

| O&O DiskImage | Backs up and restores complete drives and partitions. See Back up or restore a drive. |
| O&O PartitionManager | Creates, resizes, moves and deletes partitions. See Manage partitions. |
| O&O SafeErase | Erases drives and partitions so that the data cannot be recovered. See Erase a drive securely. |
| O&O DeskInfo | Shows the system information of the computer and exports it. See Show system information. |

Firefox, Notepad++ and PowerShell are downloaded while the media creator builds the boot media. See Start menu and programs.
Available depending on the license
O&O DiskImage, O&O DiskRecovery, O&O PartitionManager, O&O SafeErase and network boot are only included when your license contains them (see Editions). The media creator adds them automatically; the Programs tab of the expert mode shows which programs a medium receives (see Choose drivers and programs).
