Does Check automatically repair Windows?

The initial run checks the selected areas. If it finds problems, the main action becomes Repair, which you choose separately.

Why does the app need administrator rights?

It uses Windows servicing and disk-maintenance functions that require elevation, so Windows asks when the app starts.

Can I cancel?

Yes, using Cancel and the confirmation prompt. Repair adds a warning because changes already performed are not rolled back. Let a repair finish whenever possible.

Can I choose another disk?

The current main window checks the system drive and has no drive selector.

Does a green result mean the entire PC is healthy?

It means the selected checks did not report an inconsistency in that run. It is not a malware scan or comprehensive hardware test.

Why did repair not fix everything?

The Windows maintenance operation may require source data, network access or a working recovery configuration. Open Show log file when offered and send the relevant error to support.
