Windows and the application package

Use the Windows application package that O&O Software or the O&O product that includes this tool supplies for the computer. The current application targets Windows 10 and Windows 11. Individual features depend on the version of the operating system, on services, permissions and the available hardware.

The application requires administrator rights at startup for Windows maintenance operations. A network connection can be needed for repair source data.

Before starting

With a portable distribution, keep the application in a writable, stable location. Use the complete package supplied by O&O for the processor architecture of the computer; copying the executable alone can omit required runtime components.

A browser is sufficient to read this online manual. The manual itself does not install the Windows application. Network access is needed to open the online help and support pages or to check for application updates.
