Welcome to the official documentation for O&O DeskInfo — the free system information display for the Windows desktop by O&O Software GmbH.

What is O&O DeskInfo?​

O&O DeskInfo shows the most important information about your computer directly on your desktop. The display appears in front of your wallpaper but behind your desktop icons, so it is always visible during your work without ever getting in the way.

You always know what is going on inside your PC: which Windows version and build is installed, how much memory is still free, how busy the processor and the graphics card are, which IP address the active network adapter uses, and how full your drives are. And when you contact a help desk, a single click copies all of that information into the clipboard.

Freeware — and it stays that way​

O&O DeskInfo is freeware and free of charge. You may use it on any number of computers, privately and commercially, and you may pass it on unchanged. There is no trial period, no license key and no premium version to upgrade to.

O&O DeskInfo does not require an installation and therefore never brings other software with it. If you received a copy that came with an installer or with additional software, that is a violation of our terms of use. Please let us know the source so that we can take action.
