Install and activate

Check the system requirements before installing O&O DiskImage 22. Product information is available on the O&O DiskImage product page.

Install​

  1. Download the setup file from the O&O Software website.
  2. Run the setup file with administrator rights and follow the instructions of the setup.
  3. Start O&O DiskImage 22 Premium Edition.

Trial and license​

O&O DiskImage is commercial software. You can try it during the trial period; continued use requires a valid license.

Activating the license requires an active internet connection. The recovery environment of the startup medium also needs an internet connection, in particular for activation and updates.

After the installation​

  • Create the first backup. See Quick start.
  • Open Tools and set up Fortress Mode or create a startup medium, so that you can restore the PC when Windows no longer starts.
  • Check the defaults for new backups under Settings. See Settings.

Uninstall​

Open the Windows Control Panel, go to Uninstall a program, select O&O DiskImage and uninstall it. Backup files are not deleted when the application is uninstalled.
