Language

O&O RegEditor is available in English and German. Both language resources are built into the program, so switching requires no installation.

Change the interface language

Choose the language under View > Language:

Option	Effect
System default	Uses the language of your Windows user interface (English or German), falling back to a default when the system language is neither.
English	Always uses English.
German	Always uses German.

Restart required

Changing the language takes full effect after a restart of the program. O&O RegEditor saves your choice, then offers to restart so the new language is loaded everywhere in the interface. Your selected key location and other settings are preserved across the restart.

The chosen language is remembered and applied automatically the next time you start O&O RegEditor.
