Choose an edition

Choose Free for manual review and configuration. Choose Premium if you want the service to monitor and re-apply your selected settings in the background or to manage named profiles. Installation and service administration may still require administrator rights.

Automatic protection is subject to permissions, Windows protection, and conflict handling. Hybrid Mode can exclude settings repeatedly overridden by another authority. Review Automatic protection and Profiles editor for the available controls.

Group Policy

Group Policy can configure registry values through Registry preference items as well as administrative templates. A missing ADMX template does not by itself make a setting impossible to manage with Group Policy. See Microsoft Learn — Group Policy preferences.

Coordinate O&O ShutUp10 with your organization’s policies. Premium can monitor the settings it supports on standalone and managed computers, but it does not guarantee that it can override every policy or restore every setting after an update. Use Hybrid Mode to avoid repeatedly competing with domain policy. Profile export/import supports reusing configurations; it is not itself a remote fleet-management console.
