Customers of the Premium Edition receive priority support through the O&O Software support portal.
Before you contact support, check Troubleshooting and the FAQ.
Prepare a support request​
Include:
- The edition and version of O&O ShutUp10 from Tools → Settings… → Information.
- The Windows version and edition.
- The affected setting, including its ID if shown (for example M003), and the tab (Current User or Local Machine).
- What you did, what happened, and what you expected.
- For the Premium Edition: whether the background service is running and whether automatic protection is enabled.
- A log if the problem can be reproduced: enable Enable logging on the Advanced tab of the Settings dialog, see Settings dialog.
Review exported files and logs before you send them; they can contain the computer name and user names.
Updates​
- Free Edition: Help → Check online for new version opens the download page.
- Premium Edition: Help → Check for updates now checks through the integrated updater and reports the result.
Whether the application checks for new versions at startup is configured on the Advanced tab of the Settings dialog. See Update check.
