Does disabling an entry uninstall the program?
No. It changes automatic startup. The program may still run if you launch it manually, and a process already running may continue until it exits.
Why is an action unavailable?
The entry may require administrator rights, may be protected or may not support that operation. Drivers are informational. Delay applies only to eligible services and scheduled tasks.
Why is an entry missing?
Switch to All, clear the search and inspect Sources and filters. Hiding a source does not disable its entries.
Is every “Recommended to disable” entry safe for my setup?
Read the reason and consider the features you use. Recommendations cannot account for every device or business requirement. Test a few reversible changes at a time.
Can I undo deletion?
There is no general restore function for deleted registrations. Disable an entry first if you only want to test its effect. Restoring a deleted entry may require repair or configuration in its owning application.
Why is boot time unavailable?
The Windows performance log may require elevation or may not contain a suitable event. The absence of a measurement is not a zero-second boot.
Why did an entry return?
An application update, repair or policy may recreate its startup registration. Review the owning application's settings if you need a lasting change.
